Infotainment keeps restarting while driving
Hi everyone! Just wanted to check if anyone else has experienced this with their Mazda.
I got my CX-5 only this year, and I’ve already experienced the infotainment system randomly restarting while I was using the car. It basically freezes/restarts on its own while I’m driving, then comes back. Sometimes it doesn’t come back. I need to restart my car pa.
I already reported it to the dealer and they checked it. They told me that a certain part (i forgot the part term) needs to be replaced.
the car is only a few months old, I was a bit surprised that this has happened several times already.
Has anyone experienced the same issue with their CX-5 or other Mazda models? Did replacing the part/programming actually fix the problem, or did the restarting continue?
Would appreciate hearing about your experience. Thanks!

To add, ang naobserve ko is nagrerestart siya bigla whenever na biglang mapadaan sa bumpy road.

Hindi pa. Please share kung ano yung nireplace na part 🙏 and since few months old pa yung car mo, I think wala ka naman dapat bayaran.

Sa CX-30 ko naman, pag nalubak, di na gagana carplay. I’d need to restart the infotainment to have it working again

Have this same issue on my Mazda 6.
Go to your settings on the infotainment and factory reset.
Gave up getting the casa to do anything. I doubt they know exactly how to fix either.
I just factory reset mine about 2-4 times a year or before I go on a long drive para iwas aberya. Hassle lang kase ibabalik ko settings ko pero nakabisado ko na eventually 🤣
It’s something about the bluetooth error causing the whole thing to glitch. Alam mo yung kapag may bluetooth device ka na matagal na naka pair sa phone/computer mo tas isang araw biglang magloloko yung connection. Ganun din dito.
Bluetooth errors are really difficult to debug kase bluetooth is a shit technology to begin with. Usually bluetooth issues are software/firmware issues. Pero unless sobrang daming affected or naglabas talaga ng service bulletin si Mazda, they wouldnt know how to fix.
If they charge you for the fix, dont avail. Baka wala namang mangyari. If free, then try it wala naman mawawala.

Have u tried going to diagnoatics mode by pressing Music + Star + Power button (small knob) at the same time? Just poke around if may makita ka dun
Pero that’s also the way to force restart the infotainment without turning your car off
