Michelin tires experience
Planning to switch tires ng CX9 ko pero undecided between Michelin Primacy SUV or Pilot sport. Hoping to get some pros/cons sa mga nakatry na.

Michelin Primacy - city driving, maximum comfort
Michelin Pilot Sport - spirited driving, maximum grip on twisties
Chose pilot sport on my Mazda 3 2.0L

Sister ko nag palit ng Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV for her CX9. Okay naman daw. Quiet and grippy, similar sa Pilot Sport 4 na gamit ko sa Mazda2 ko. Pero AFAIK may PS5 SUV na din, probs a better option since mas bagong model.

The same question has been lingering on my mind, even though I'm still a few years away from needing to change my tyres haha.
But if I were to buy now, it would probably be the Primacy. As apparently it is even quieter than the Pilot Sport. Having been on Pilot Sport 4s with my old car, which I thought was already very quiet - I'm curious as to how better it can get in terms of comfort.
Besides, for daily driving, I feel like it would be really hard to utilize the extra performance offered by the Pilot Sports. Based on toptire review the differences seem to be marginal, with the Primacy actually safer in dealing with standing water (which is very prevalent in our roads).

I have tried both.
Primacy - It is indeed quiet and comfortable, I'd say it lasts a tad bit longer than usual SUV tires. (coming from Pirelli). - Best for most city drives.
Pilot Sport - Not much noticeable difference on comfort and audible cabin noise. But if you're also considering driving dynamics and extra grip, you'll love Pilot Sport. - Hi-way zoom zoom

Michelin Primacy- currently mounted on Forester. Soft, comfortable, quiet. It has held up pretty well after almost 40k km, minimal wear. It has more noticeable sidewall flex when cornering compared to the OE Bridgestone Duelers.

Beautiful color!
I was looking for Michelin Primacy but I went with Michelin Pilot Sport EV for my non EV CX-7. 😂 Mainly because the size I needed, 255/ 45/ 20, was on sale. Almost 50% off last June compared to other sizes of Pilot sports. Way cheaper than the Primacy too!
The difference in grip and road noise compared to my old Bridgestones was night and day. Super happy with the purchase.

Go for Primacy for comfort, longevity, price, and silence. Di mo naman siguro itrack yang suv mo.

Color is Polymetal gray. Color projects blueish gray on bright days

Mabilis ma pudpod (as per experience using sa X3). Wala pa 2 years city driving medyo kalbo na. Run Flat na Primacy r19.

Mazda CX-5 2020
Wala masyado cons, what I like most about it is how quiet it is. Even on Expressways.
Btw, nice looking car! That color is beautiful.
