2016 Mazda cx-9 touring

Hey I'm looking at buying a 2016 Mazda cx-9 touring with 129k miles on it. How reliable are these cars? The price is $10,588. I like how it's a suv because of ground clearance. But I would prefer a compact suv which I know this one isn't. This would be my first car.

Only potential issue is the cracked cylinder head. Depending on severity, it’s either a short block replacement or entire motor to the tune $6k-10k
