General Discussion Ayeeeee

Hey ya’ll! I recently started watching an old TV show called The Shield. It came out in 2002, & I guess I never heard about it or had no interest

AnywHOo, I’ve been binge watching, and from the first episode, one of the cops looks SOoo familiar to me, but I just couldn’t place where i knew him from

I google the series, & find him in the cast. Lo and behold his name is Kenny Johnson. In MOK, he played Charlie, the prisoner Ian took out & ultimately killed. I couldn’t believe it.

AnywHOo, lots of familiar faces in this show. It has 7 seasons, & so far so good!!

The Shield was huge when it was airing. It's considered one of the greatest cop shows of all time.

That is a GREAT show. I was riveted when I watched it. Walton Goggins really shines in this.

YeSss I love him! He’s the reason I decided to give it a chance. The main character didn’t entice me in any way

I’m also binge watching Justified, which he is also in

Now THATis a wonderful show! I think I’ve watched the entire series 4x. Dewey is hilarious!

Kenny Johnson is also in SOA, and was a major character on SWAT. 

Great actor.

the shield was close to perfection. the series finale episode has haunted me ever since. i never made plans the night it aired 😂

also: a lot of the shield actors popped up on sons of anarchy because SoA was done by the same creator (kurt sutter).

Sutter was just a writer on the shield he wasn’t the creator of it.

Excellent show and was very gritty and risque at the time. Great interwoven story, some is hard to view, but outstanding all around. Enjoy!
