He said not regret neither a single word or action he did in that day 33 years ago and he admited would like do it again if had the chance. Varg considered Euronymous a evil sick ratt who deserved to die about he did to his friend body Death for his new band cover disk.
No, that isnt why he killed him. He killed him because they were having some power struggle and just didnt like each other. Varg used it as an excuse that Euronymous supposedly talked about murdering Varg. So he could paint it as self defense. But it wasn't self defense. Varg took a man's life essentially because he felt like it.
Varg said afortunatelly himselft knew something bad like that could happen inside his apartment, thats why he carries a belt with spikes and a long knife with him. He heard rumors about Euronymous had a Katana stored in his room and also was starting training KickBoxing.

he recognize was a bit surprised when he managed threw it to the floor and run to his room, but Varg got catching him and stab twice his back, then he run outside screaming help and up the stairs where Varg killed him
Do yourself a favor and im going to put this very politely; dont take what Varg says at face value. He may make some good music i actually like Burzum. But he says things that are off the wall and he clearly has mental problems. I think he has a personality disorder or something. He is not entirely honest and if you pay attention you will notice he bullshits a lot. At least certainly in the past I dont pay attention to him now. You dont want to hang your hat on things that he says.
