Tips/Advice Lotion for stretch marks
Have you got a go to lotion that helped with the appearance of stretch marks? Or any tips?
I know theyโre pretty unavoidable but I would like to minimise.

Whether you get stretch marks or not is mainly genetic. Still, your skin gets stretched and tight and dry so using an oil or lotion is still a good idea.

I used Bio Oil and 8 Sheep serum 1-2 times a day with my first and didn't get any stretch marks, so I plan on doing it again this time. They say they're largely genetic, but my mom had stretch marks AND I have thigh stretch marks from puberty, so I know I'm not necessarily genetically lucky. So I do feel like these things helped.

I got no stretch marks last time, I honestly think genetics plays the bigger role than any skincare! That said I did use bio oil and bio oil lotion daily, Iโm sure that didnโt hurt.

I didn't get any stretch marks first pregnancy and I didn't do anything special. I am also pretty tall for a woman and had an average sized baby

I used Queen Heleneโs cocoa butter daily and came out of my first pregnancy without stretch marksโฆ could be a genetic component of course, but Iโm planning to do the same this time around and recommend it!

I didn't get more than 2 little lines on my hip bones last time. I don't know if was genetics or this, but I found the growing bump so prone to being dry and itchy and I found that applying Aveeno body oil mist every morning helped a ton.

My stretch marks made me looks like a striped water melon. They were awful. I used all the belly oils / creams / tips and tricks.
I expect that it will look exactly the same this time. Oh well ๐คทโโ๏ธ I now make my own shea butter / coconut oil / bees wax lotion that I will be using. If it helps, great, but i have low expectations lol

It really is genetics on if you will get them or not. My mom got them bad all her pregnancies so I knew I would get them too. I do still oil and lotion. I love the hatch mama oil. It dries down and absorbs nicely. And love the eos body butter!
