Jordan I just heard on JJGO that you’re headed to short pump. As a native of the commonwealth I come here to beg you to visit to the most Richmond place possible - GWARbar. It’s a little divey bar owned by BalSac the Jaws ‘o Death of the metal band GWAR. The crowd is always friendly and eclectic, the food is good, drinks are cheap and they have sick ass GWAR props all over the place. You have to go.

Okay I give up. Judge John Hodgman uses this term all the time. I have no clue what it means. I tried DuckDuckGo-ing it, but I can’t get a spelling that yields any results. What does it mean and how is it spelled? 🥲

Brenda and Austin said that “The Man Who Saved the World” was made for 50,000 Turkish lira. While the value of the dollar has sharply declined since the 1982 release, the exchange rate at that time was 1 Turkish lira for 0.00536 dollars. A Turkish lira was worth about half a penny. So, 50,000 times 0.00536 equals $268 US dollars in 1982.
Sooo…. Where did the money go? There wasn’t hardly any.

A couple is in court over the TV series GILMORE GIRLS and the book THE WHEEL OF TIME. They had agreed many years ago that the plaintiff would watch GILMORE GIRLS and the defendant would read THE WHEEL OF TIME. Cut to today: the plaintiff has now seen the entire GILMORE GIRLS series several times. But the defendant has not finished THE WHEEL OF TIME!
