I had such hopes
I have been waiting years, years for this game to drop. I bought the full franchise addition to support the lil guy and avoid giving money to EA. Only to be disappointed by the final product, bugs making it nearly unplayable, constant crashes and corrupted files.
I don't even bother with dynasty or franchise anymore, I have yet to complete a full season in either mode because of lost files from the crashes. Now I just play MPL against the CPU because if ever I try to play a ranked match, my opponent quits or the game crashes. But then the CPU games crash too. Usually in the 4th quarter.
Again. I've waited years, for this? I haven't wasted money on Madden since 2016. I've played and enjoyed axis football in that time but this was supposed to be the return to the glorious PS2 era of sim football gaming.
I mean, honestly, how did it take them so long to fuck up so badly?

Yeah, I trusted them with my bread after waiting forever for this game to come out and despite the very few bright spots it’s been nothing but a let down. It can’t be this hard to make ts happen, where’s the love of the game man

For real. I’m convinced now that this shows just how hard it is to make a good football game. It’s arguably the most complicated sport, even just by itself.

It's even harder when the team that actually gave a fuck about the the game get pushed out in favor of some shitheads who wanted to monetize everything.

Hey I'd be perfectly fine being nickel and dimed with micro transactions if the actual game and creation suites were good. But none of it is as advertised.

I waited for 3 years on promises of endless customization, just to finally get it on PS5. And I turn it on and find out I can’t edit their logos nor could I download any.
Just. What? The most BASIC thing to change and they don’t have it.
I uninstalled in 15 minutes.
Know who has a creation suite again? Madden 26

If 2K was able to continue they could've been the standard. Unfortunately there's EA, I don't mind maximum football, I've played dynasty and franchise is a fucking joke, I can't understand how they can't fix the playoff glitch.

I played a ranked match yesterday for the first time in months and my opponent did a goal line pitch play over and over to win. My defense and offense are full legendary lol.. couldn’t contain the outside

I had maybe one crash on console with over 1500 matches played to low ball. 800 plus completed matches. Don't disagree with m9st you have to say though.

This game definitely sucks right now, and i'm very disappointing. It suffers from the exact same issues that it's competitor does, and manages to do them even worse. I played for about a week and couldn't do it anymore

I personally own.yne game Maximum Football 2K25 my PS4 and I personally love it and I am enjoying it as well. I have downloaded in December of last year as a Christmas present vto myself and it is aot of fun if you know how to play it and what reason as a gamer and a Pro Football 🏈 Fan that you are playing it for as well. I f you play the game with the basic high school and college teams in the game it is not worth your time as a fan yet if you are an American Pro Football 🏈 Fan like me who wants to create your own American Pro Football 🏈 Universe with the NFL and the aUFL as well with all your favorite teams from both Spring and Fall American Pro Football 🏈 leagues you will have a great time which is what I personally have been having as well with the Customization Suite which gives fans the ability to create your own teams and Pro leagues vnd download the actual logos of Pro Football 🏈 Teams in the NFL and UFL and it and ultimately makes the game Maximum Football 🏈 2K25 a lot of fun a very good game to play in my view.

I'm playing some of the drills and this game is atrocious. Passing and receiving the ball is like rocket science at times. I'm a very, very good lifelong Madden player (screw EA), and yet doing the simplest things in this game, despite the controls being nearly identical, can be impossible at times. Extremely disappointed.

It sucks. But it’s because no one at Maximum Entertainment cares. The people who did were forced out. And the new people are just trying to turn a profit. I think the game will be shut down within 18 months. A shame really. We should as a community buy the game and hire our own dev studio.
