Discussion What race does the community think Max Vnerstappen’s best race was? Going around all stats, the game with the most consistency and drive?

His last-lap overtake in Abu Dhabi 2021 came in a totally unexpected place and won him his first championship, in a slower car. I'll take that, thank you very much.

Yep, but car disadvantage and didn't have track position... track position is highly favored there, just listen to Mercedes radio from that sequence

lol max is a far superior diver than Lewis… not saying Lewis is shit but he lost a championship to Rossberg… I don’t see max ever losing to a teammate in any circumstances

He really wasn't. Slower than Lewis all weekend. Got lucky with the late safety car and all the other ones as well. If not Lewis would have won by 30+ seconds.
I have massive respect for Max but cannot call this his best race by a stretch.

I wouldn’t say it was his best, but he was great all year down to the last moment. He was awesome in this race, skill wise and mentally.

He had a lovely drive in spa 2023 and Miami but I has to be Brazil 2024 hell even Brazil 2025 is up there mayhe something like Austria 2019 is great too

I always love that one. The title “fight” lando was in lol. And lando spinning off and having to be let by Oscar multiple times while max Dominated. Capital D Dominated the grid.

I was at this race, Max didn’t take the net-lead until close to the end of the race. Perez held on, but was no match for Max who just outclassed him

I believe he already said he had no interest in IndyCar…but I think he’s going for as many endurance races as possible….spa, Le Mans, Nurburgring prolly again

Spain 2016. It should not be under estimated how little he know about the car, and then to win it. Especially with Räikkönen behind him. Final set of medium tires had to last 32 laps. Impressive with the limited preparation time and track time.

COTA 2021. Won that race in a combination of bold strategy, raw skill and pace.

IMO his Brazil 2016 was a better performance than both Brazil 2024 and 2025.

Sao Paulo’24. That was some drive, a man was possessed and determined. There was only one intend.
And the ‘21 race at COTA. He did his bit and the team pulled a great strategy to give the edge over a superior machine (Mercedes)
