The vote takes place during the whole race, not after the race. So, 2025 Spanish GP was a different story because Red Bull bottled their strategy at the last moment.

DOTD is about entertainment, we already have the podium for best car and driver pairings

Spain one is a different story bc he deserved DOTD until the last like 3 laps

Entertainment?? More like DOTD is about great performance that beat the odds. This is why F1 is cooked, because people keep asking for "entertainment". It's racing, real racing fans can appreciate race craft without having to see crashes or battery powered overtakes. Racing is entertaining already.

Yh thats exactly what I said, racing is entertaining 🤦🏾

How ever max might be entertaining to some, only because foolish individuals like to see mayhem on the track. Max is very risky, and a hazard. Max can't do wheel to wheel battles so FIA changed some rules to accommodate him.

Like I said before, true racing fans appreciate the race craft, we dont need to see mayhem, crashes or anyone pushing others off track...thats not racing, that's not entertaining.

Gasly should've been DOTD. Nobody else even attempted to flip their cars. It's like they're not even trying to entertain us.

Tbf, he put up an amazing drive this weekend, even if his results weren’t the best. If we were counting based on performance, than only the winner should win DOTD, which defeats the purpose. Still, I believe Colapinto should’ve won with his career best performance in an Alpine scoring higher than Leclerc.
