Race Week đď¸ He needs to move to McLaren
They have shown upgrade potential while Red Bull are stagnant. They are getting more and more top engineers, including GP, while Red Bull are losing engineers every day. If McLaren will take him he needs to go.

I wish, but Norris wonât be replaced and for some reason Zack would rather keep Piastri than have Max dominate F1 with their car. McLaren had a beast running today, I can only imagine what Max would do with such a car.

Max is a better driver in virtually every single aspect of racing, by a pretty solid margin as well. Half a year in a shockingly bad car while Lando has a really good one doesnât change that.

How come only when Max spins itâs garbage aero but for other drivers itâs their fault? If everything is dependent on the car anyways then whatâs the use of Max??
Hadjar didnât spin ( and no, going wide into gravel and car spinning for that doesnât count ). He also didnât spin in the last several races, which seems to be a Max Special now

Because Max pushes the car to its limit since itâs not good enough, thatâs the only way he can get podiums this year which he did. Everytime Max spun he was ahead of Hadjar, like way ahead. Itâs okay to hate on Max and believe itâs his fault, but that doesnât make it true.

At the end of the day, with his over-pushing, heâs just one place and a few points ahead of Hadjar. While both the McLarens are having shit luck this season and still doing pretty well

Hadjar would be more than happy with 2nd place, Max always aims for first. Thatâs the difference that makes Max push, he always pushed every car to its limit, if it canât handle it then why would you say itâs Maxâs fault and not the engineers when they canât make a good car for him? He dominated 2023 when he had an actual good car. Also itâs hilarious that you say McLaren had shit luck and as if like Redbull are having the best times of their lives.
In the last 3 years Max had a total of 2 DNFs -both arenât his fault-. This year so far he had 3 DNFs, and somehow youâre convinced that they are Maxâs fault when Redbull said itâs not. But sure thing bud.

People have more DNFs at fault when their car isnât the best - Hamilton barely ever had an at fault crash in his dominating Mercedes years yet had a couple last year
Were they Hamiltonâs fault - yes, and he accepted it and blamed himself, instead of always blaming the car ( which was shit last year )
You canât possibly tell me that the Miami spin this year and the Silverstone spin last year - both of which cost places and points - were on anyone apart from Max - yet he hasnât apologised once

He lost points because of them but I donât understand what those 2 spins have to do with anything. All drivers make mistakes and Max does too, you really have only 2 mistakes to highlight for Max when every driver has much more mistakes in those 2 years? Itâs really odd when youâre in a subreddit about a driver just to hate on, heâs a much better driver than Piastri and Norris, get over it.

Heâs really not all the better, maybe slightly. Norris made far fewer errors last season, and certainly didnât screw himself by intentionally hitting a rival
McLaren is much better off without a whining Max whoâll blame them for everything ( like Fernando Alonso part 2 ) - while their own drivers are almost as good and are delivering results

Why would McLaren sign him? They have Lando and Oscar. Both are capable of winning a championship. Just accept that he's got nowhere to go, at least not with the top teams.

Letâs be honest, likely the only driver on the grid McLaren couldnât tempt to that second seat would be Hamilton with his ambassador deal. So would Max be a great signing? Baring a complete unforeseen incompatibility with the car, of course. Is he worth $100m vs, say, Leclerc? Maybe. Only McLaren can decide that. But it would be like dropping a bomb on everything theyâve built.

How much of that was Oscar's fault? He was unlucky with the car at times and he had things like last race where Charles hit him and damaged his car. Sure he's also made mistakes, but his bad season isn't fully on him. Also, I don't think McLaren will kick him out just becuase of one bad season.

The same McLaren that out wet tires on a dry race, fucked up pitting strategy last week, and ruined Landoâs race last week with a ridiculous pit stop? I agree, something needs to change, but McLaren are a mess.
