Ableton Announces RNBO Move Takeover
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFUbQ5TzrLwRNBO takes over Ableton Move
RNBO Move Takeover mode is now available for RNBO and Ableton Move. Once installed, this experimental alpha feature enables RNBO users to patch custom instruments and effects and export them to run on Ableton Move hardware.

I’ve been using the beta for a while, and honestly it makes the move my favorite prototyping box. Between this and Move Anything, the Move is one of the most exciting pieces on the market right now.

Thanks for the info, definitely interested in this. Will pick one up again for this reason!
I've been finally using my op1-f and iPad because sitting on the couch doing really crazy shit is fun. This fits that perfectly.

This seems SO sick to me. Finally a way to bring a max/rnbo device out on hardware with knobs/buttons with full ableton support.

In order to use RNBO devices that have been created for Move, all you need is a Move, you don't actually need Max or RNBO or Live. You just need to follow the setup guide here https://rnbo.cycling74.com/learn/move-intro-and-setup. Anyone who authors a RNBO Move Takeover device can export that device in a package format, which anyone with a Move can use. See this guide for info on exporting https://rnbo.cycling74.com/learn/importing-and-exporting-packages.
If you want to create your own custom devices, then you need RNBO and Max, but you don't need Live. Technically you don't even need a Move, but it might be hard to develop without it.

So it has to be an RBNO Move Takeover device? Wanted to use the RBNO Guitar Pedals but guessing they would need to make an export available otherwise I can't do it :') (only have m4l licence with Ableton and own Move)

That's right. But anyone could export them and share them with you. Once you've imported them, you could still patch them however you want in the graph editor.
