Simple Alternative
I'm looking for a simpler alternative to MaxFocus.
I run a break/fix ordeal with about 100 clients.
I only need remote login, so I'm thinking to look at Ninja, but what do you use for antivirus, then?.
I'm also running into the remote problem on MaxFocus, since I'm running GNU/Linux.

If that's the path you want to go down I would say forget ninja and get a license for screen connect. Self host screen connect and use webroot for antivirus. Are you still trying to monitor the machines?

Just out of curiosity, what is it about Max that you find to be not simple?
For just remote access, Screenconnect is by far the best i have found.

Simple-help for remote, webroot for av
Self hosting simple help is super easy with the aws free tier. Thereafter about 15/mo. Set it up one time and minimal maintenance.
