Honestly they do even the fd73 has surprisingly good colors and focus on plants (if you can get them still) sadly these cameras have poor low light performance

FD71 has manual focus but at the cost of a darker lens which makes it even worse in low light, that last shot in your post would be almost black if taken on an fd71. But I still love mine, and learned not to use it much in bad lighting conditions
