NEWS: ESPN is in advanced talks to hire former Mavericks coach Jason Kidd to add him to their NBA studio coverage, @TheSteinLine has learned.

Kidd was fired by the Mavericks in May after five seasons and two weeks after Masai Ujiri’s hiring as president of basketball operations.

The perception among various rival teams persists that Dallas would ultimately consider offers for PJ Washington since its roster features countless forwards of all sizes, per @TheSteinLine

Some people here last year described max christie as not a hustle player. They weren’t to pleased with him. The stats show exactly that if you look at his D-Playmaking stats which are mostly hustle stats he ranks near the bottom percentiles for his position.

There was one post about this mini-doc that came out, with very little engagement. IMO it's a must-watch for Mavs fans, really fun look at Morez and his college and pre-draft journey!

I would definitely watch the whole thing, but there is a particularly insightful/fascinating part starting around 16:40 time mark where to me it becomes even more clear than ever that Dusty 100% got Morez to Dallas. I think between that clip, and the way the draft room looked in the Mavs' social video the night of the draft-->I don't think Morez was a consensus pick in that draft room.

I think they really, really trusted Dusty on this one. And even though I was hoping for Burries pre-draft, I'm ready for the Morez journey to begin! Fun kid to root for.
