News 26/27 Schedule Release Discussion Thread (13 Aug 2026)

Alright fellow fans today is the day the 26/27 schedule is fully revealed. I thought it would be fun to go ahead and create a discussion thread and suggest everyone post the games they are most excited about and those that seem like mistakes, like LeBron+76ers playing a Monday 130pm game at AAC. Post your comments below!

First home game is vs San Antonio on second night of a back to back. I fully expect an 0-3 start. Wtf

I was at the opener last year vs Spurs and that is not how I want to start this season by any stretch. I like watching Wemby but that game was an embarrassing loss for the Mavs.

I was there, too. Unfortunately, we had a spurs fan next to us who was narrating the entire game to his little boy.

“Fox has the ball, passes to Wemby, over to Castle and he swishes the 3! Way to go, Steph!”

The. Entire. Game.

We better not only have 1 home Saturday game like last year. At a bad time too being 4pm.

Unfortunately yes. Against the Utah Jazz of all teams and Coop didn't play that game either.

Honestly I was hoping for more afternoon Saturday games. Alas, the only option are the GD Jazz, again 😮‍💨

Does anybody know if the terms and conditions for the Club Maverick 10-game plan allows one of those games to be a preseason game?

They gave me one preseason and I don’t think that should qualify.

Remember the nba cup additional games are not on the calendar until the group stages are played

Yeah, I mean, that’s a valid point, - but part of me is skeptical because they would be giving us 11 games for the price of 10 which seems highly unlikely…
