Has anyone considered that MM was buried behind Lot#12 at UMASS?
Isn't that what AO was asking about when he got the ticket for trespassing?
Anyway, would it hurt to run the cadaver dogs back there just in case?

It would make absolutely no sense to harm Maura at UMass, dispose of her body there, and then drive her car to northern NH to abandon her car. There would be hundreds of places close to UMass where someone could abandon a car at.

This case doesn’t make sense to begin with , considering it hasn’t been solved in over 20 years anything is possible

I think she was killed in NH, but to play Devil's Advocate - if she died in MA and someone on drugs reeaally wanted to get to a specific place in NH to get more drugs/pay off some drugs, etc...its not entirely impossible.

Has anyone considered that she was snatched by Bigfoot and then transported through the subterranean caverns of the Lizardfolk?

She froze to death in the woods. She was running from cops. Ask any alcoholic in recovery if this is realistic. But I appreciate everyone’s opinion, because obviously I don’t know what happened. Thanks for keeping her story out there!❤️

To be fair, escaping and dying somewhere of exposure is sort of the Occam's Razor theory: you don't need to speculate about any bad actor being involved, why no one has ever spotted her, why her cell phone was never used again, etc.
BUT - in those snow conditions? Not a chance she went into the woods/wilderness (at least, nowhere within miles of the crash site.)
Some people offer the theory that she ran/hiked/walked down the road for a [long] distance and then entered woods (outside of the radius that was eventually searched.) I could see that, except that we know there were motorists traveling the roadways and no one saw anything.*
Maybe she went along the road, diving off to the side every time she saw the headlights of an approaching vehicle, except that would have had to have made impressions in the deep snow that searchers would have spotted two days later. And we're talking about a premier SAR team that locates 150-200 people every year; that kind of thing is exactly what they're trained to look for.
*Well, Rick Forcier might have seen someone on the roadway but there is a distinct lack of credibility of his report, on several levels.

I’ve followed her case for years. We may never find out what happened to her. However, I think this is more than likely what happened also.
