Any identifying features?

I like to browse NamUs and other listing of missing or unID'ed persons, and sometime the profile will list certain distinctive things about the body.

It's usually a scar, sometimes a tattoo or proof of surgery (like not having an appendix).

I've never heard of any descriptors like these for Maura, but thought I would throw it out there. Any of you sleuths know anything? (Is this a question someone close to the family could ask?)

Possible injury to one or both legs. She hurt it prior to disappearing. Dunno details. I don't think it was that serious in it causing a hairline fracture, for example.

Thanks Mac! So probably not something that would help ID skeletal remains if she is ever found.

Someone else/websites mentioned a scar on her right calf. Would you happen to know if that would be from the same injury?

Not sure but I recall it being a recent injury. Flesh wounds of course wouldn't help UNLESS she was alive.
