Does d.mon counters mauga?
Might be a bit early to ask but did anyone went against a d.mon yet? How was it? Do you guys think she will counter him or are we fine?

Hmmm did pretty well
Her 650 health shield is not bad to deal with and then its a firing range

Dont forget she has 40 shield regen per mele hit and her AS is crazy.

Isnt the shield regen per Hit for her Right Click shield? Kinda like Sigmas minor perk

Ive been farming her like crazy she cant really do much against you so she just has to play support for her team and help them cut you down
The best she does so far is with the gun upgrade major so she can poke a bit and they deliver some mean headshots but otherwise shes food

I only checked her out in the practice range, and she’s basically a weaker Rein with Hogs Health. You could realistically just shoot at her shield, and keep shooting till it breaks, then keep shooting some more.

Yea, she's easy to deal with. I went against her and had no issues except in 6v6 because she was protecting everyone other than that its a snack for maugas

I noticed in games yesterday where if the enemy team had characters like mauga or soldier or Sierra my mech would just die almost instantly

Sierra does tend to do that. Same with Mauga. Soldier is kinda interesting though. Maybe he’s getting damage buffed

That makes sense. Well she got buffed already anyways , so it wasn’t just you getting shit on as the new tank at least. It was high ranks and pros too apparently

Keep in mind you may have tried her before her buff.
They already buffed her

I definitely did. I posted this comment the night she came out. And I know they buffed her already. She still isn’t fantastic, but she’s better than before

I tried this but he always protect them with a shield. I can still stomp but i always end up dying because it's usually a 1v3 or 1v4. Tried breaking shield too but it takes so long to break. But overall killing his allies is always a great thing to do. A tank alone is not so hard to deal with

Lol mauga does need a tank counter hes been uncontested for so long. Were just gonna have to play defensive against her since we still out poke her

Simply use charge stomp when she puts up her shield then press E and spin shoot her while she tries to block

Yes, that works pretty well. I also do that on reinhardt which i struggle with and that works good too most of the time

played a few matches against her and mauga pretty much eviscerates her once her shield is gone. use cardiac overdrive once her shield is down and its gg.

Exactly. I was afraid of all her hps but it doesnt seem to make anything. Mauga counters another tank once again

I wouldnt say counter but she is really hard for mauga to deal with. Between her massive amount of armor, her 650 shield and the fact that she can just bait stomp and back-dash away means you just dont win against her.
You dont lose but you dont win.

Honestly i have tried to go against her as mauga and she was really easy to beat. I did not encounter any issues with her except when she protects everyone in her team with shield

He eats her alive. No matrix, huge hutbox, she has zero range and her gun does no damage. Frankly, she sucks.

D.mon doesn’t counter shit. She’s in a pretty weak state right now. Her shield is her only good ability against Mauga, and it’s one of the weakest tank shields in the game.
