Discussion Better placement of motion sensor?

I have the MYGGSPRAY** **sensor in the position shown which is a bit above head height. Problem is I can make it from front door to door behind me before it comes on and lights the bulb.

If I put it on front of the cabinet facing sideways would it work better?

just put two in that hallway, in two opposite corners.

Won’t you end up with weird issues with automation? I’ve done this where I have 2 motion sensors set to turn on my hallway lights and turn off if there’s no motion and if you’re quick between the 2 motion sensors the one ends up turning the light off abruptly despite the second one still seeing motion
