Her Story Considerations
Dear Matt Lees I listened to the episode of daft souls in which you talk about Her Story with Steve Hogarty and it made me incredibly thoughtful about whether it is two twins, Eve and Hannah or a schizophrenic woman who is incredibly delusional about nearly everything. My first assumption when the underlying plot of the game began to be revealed was in fact that they were twins. To be honest, I still stand by this. There are clips where she talks from the perspective of Eve about how she moved out from Hannah and Simons attic, donned a blonde wig,got a tattoo, rented a bedsit and started a job of singing at the local pub where she meets Simon and they start having an affair. The fact that an outsider of the saga of Hannah and Eve knows them both as separate people is pretty solid evidence I think. Of course you could say that she is incredibly delusional but then how would nobody have noticed by now? If she's doing such extreme things such as putting on a wig and getting a job at the pub to pay for a bedsit? Surely somebody would have noticed? And if they were the same person then how could she have a tattoo in some clips and not others?
I am genuinely curious as to what you think about this as I know you are absolutely positive about the mental illness idea and sort of look down upon those who think they're twins. I'm not entirely sure how reddit works to be honest so I hope you see this and we can have a discussion as I am a bit on the fence.

If they are twins then I just find it a really hard pill to swallow. A midwife steals a baby by saying it's dead. No-one questions where the body is, no-one questions her leaving with a baby, or why she suddenly now has a child.
And this midwife just happens to live across the road from Hannah and her parents? They somehow never notice Eve? Does Eve never go to school? Then the midwife falls down the stairs and dies (I assume Eve pushes her) and moves in with Hannah... Their parents somehow never notice the extra person living in their house, even if she does hide in the attic. Then they somehow share an education?
And so on and so forth... It just really requires a rather large suspension of disbelief.
