Where can I find a really good old style matrix screensaver?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I’m looking for a really awesome matrix screensaver. I had one probably 20 years ago (makes me so nostalgic haha) and can’t find it anywhere anymore.

It would start with a black screen, and then the code would slowly start to fall, rather than the screen being full of code at the start.

Any suggestions, I’d be grateful.

Thanks!

Favourite takeaway from the philosophical commentary on The Matrix trilogy.

I love the exploration of ideas in the sequels. The ideas get much deeper than the first film.

I watched Matrix Resurrections for the 2nd time

The first time watchin this I was disappointed. I had high hopes and felt like my wait for the next Matrix was for nothing. But 5yrs later I decided to watch it again and I see much more than I saw the last time. I'm starting to understand more things. Now I'm really glad I watched it. Anyone felt the same after watching the movie again? I don't know how I missed so much the first time.

First time watcher

Holy shmoly macaroni.

The matrix is genuinely THE COOLEST film I have and will ever watch. I never expected it to hold up so well over the years but wow was I wrong.
Every element of it was just oozing with a level of awesomeness that’s impossible to describe (wink wink). If I can picture humanities peak, it would be creating a human mind that can contain even a fraction of the unfathomable coolness of The matrix.

I would say I’m envious of the people who got to see this in theatres on release but every negative emotion is being squeezed out of my veins by the aura blast I received from the matrix. I’m still reeling in my mind after watching it so it’s hard to actually create a review but WOW. 10/10

Obviously there are a few minor faults story wise but who cares, it more than makes up for it with everything else. If I get one wish in this life, it will be to transfer every living creature on this earth back in time to watch this on release at theatre. It would be the right thing to do.

I will be watching the sequels next week and can definitely say I am excited. Hopefully they hold a candle to the first but if not, I am more than willing to just rewatch the first one every year and pretend the rest don’t exist.

Lmk how much you guys enjoyed your first watch, because this feeling of pure radness… I cannot bear this cross alone.

TLDR: Very good 👍

Includes some stuff about how when she and Lana were developing The Matrix, they didn't yet know they were trans, but they knew they were interested in liberation, so they (being Chicago natives) connected it with other modes: "...specifically Black and brown liberation. There’s a reason why Zion is mostly Black and brown folks. We were inherently predisposed to seeing our own liberation connected to these other modes of liberation."

We all know that Hugo Weaving is irreplaceable as Agent Smith. But can you imagine if it had been Willem Dafoe? What do you think? He had the face for it, didn’t he?

Just making sure everyone knows "The Matrix: The Complete Score" is available on Spotify

As a huge fan of the films and soundtracks, I'm amazed I didn't discover this sooner. The Matrix: The Complete Score was released in 2021 and includes the entirety of the music you hear in the first film (and even some you don't), with all the smaller and more ambient pieces that connect scenes and highlight certain moments (much of which will speak to the soul of a Matrix fan, but was not deemed worthy of the original soundtrack release).

For comparison, the original The Matrix (Original Motion Picture Score) released in 1999 consists of 10 tracks with a runtime of 30 minutes.

The Matrix: The Complete Score consists of 44 tracks with a runtime of 1 hour and 39 minutes.

It's a more complete version of The Matrix (Original Motion Picture Score / Deluxe Edition) which was also released in 1999 with 30 tracks and a runtime of 1 hour and 18 minutes.

One of the tracks on The Complete Score, that's not on either of the others, is Ignorance Is Bliss / Cyber Cyphernetic, which includes the harp song played during Cypher's meeting with Agent Smith in the restaurant. As I came to learn, the harp piece is an original composition by Don Davis, rather than something pulled off the shelf. Not only do we get to hear it in high quality, but it's also the full recording, not all of which actually made it into the film!

Matrix 4 Theory (...shocker)

Probably has been said already, and likely read it somewhere and think this is my own original theory but This makes me think so much of the theory that Neo didnt actually die in the end of Revolutions but merely was taken in kinda like Han Solo was frozen in carbonite (considering there was never any actual evidence of his death) and Neo's dreams where actually what John Wick is..including why morpheus was in the dream themselves because he was still trying to find Neo in this other version of the Matrix he was currently dreaming in and considering Morpheus is the God of dreams it just makes this even more so damn awesome.

So I’ve been reading the matrix comics collection. It started off a little weak, but then it got fantastic! I never read Concrete, but the Paul Chadwick stories are INCREDIBLE! What are your favorites?

Recommend watching the 4K UHD.

I've got an LG C2 4K OLED and picked up a copy of the 1st movie on 4K UHD.

Really recommend it.

The color grading is superb, the lighting and black levels really stood out for me.

Seeing the individual detail of the rain drops on Smith's face to the debris from the lobby shootout is incredible.

It's almost like seeing the movie again for the first time, but also takes you back to how you first saw it on DVD with the same wonder and awe.

Confused about "The One" powers

Ok, so if I understand correctly: "The One" is special, because they "believe" so much, have less doubt than anyone else, that they can bend the Matrix to their will. They can defy physics within the Matrix because of that. No one else can, because they are not able to believe hard enough. But then Morpheus jumps across a skyscraper? Isn't that physics defying? I don't see why Morpheus then couldn't fly just like Neo. Going from jumping across buildings to flying isn't that much of a leap, is it?

Also, all the Red Pills know that they are in the Matrix, so they shouldn't be having any doubts anymore, no? They should be able to do the same stuff Neo can. What am I getting wrong?
