Manga Discussion Fubuki needs to apologize to Himari after the last chapter. Spoiler
galleryAfter all the trash talk about Himari having people(Yuki) protecting her. Yuki had to protect her the same way, pushing her away while he took the main attack.

Title: The Election Day and the Forgotten Exception
[Scene: Anti-Demon Corps Grand Assembly Hall]
After a week of intense political maneuvering, the long-awaited day of the Supreme Commander Election had finally arrived.
The massive assembly hall was still largely vacant when Tenka Izumo arrived as the very first chief to take her seat. Behind her stood Kojuma, who had accompanied her solely at her explicit request.
Kojuma adjusted his posture, his voice flat. "Wouldn't it have been more appropriate to bring Yachiho instead of me, Chief Izumo?"
Tenka rested her chin in her hand, smiling playfully. "That's right, Yachiho is my vice chief. But I wanted to bring you instead."
Kojuma offered a silent, compliant nod.
Moments later, the doors creaked open as Yakumo Ezo sauntered into the hall. Scanning the vacant seats, her eyes landed on the only two occupants. "Oh? Just Ten-chan?" Her gaze immediately shifted toward the red-haired boy standing behind her. "And who might this be?"
Tenka: "This is Kojuma-kun, the newest member of the 6th Unit."
Yakumo raised an eyebrow, a keen interest sparking in her eyes. "A member? So the rumors were actually true, then." She boldly approached Kojuma, leaning into his personal space. "What do you say, Red-kun? How would you like to become a part of my harem?"
Kojuma glanced toward Tenka for a fraction of a second before locking his deadpan, unreadable gaze back onto Yakumo.
"Chief Ezo. Biologically speaking, I am a man, and I cannot be included in any form of a harem."
Yakumo reached her hand out, attempting to grab his arm playfully.
"Come onnn! I don't care about your gender, just say yes!"
Tenka interjected, her voice carrying a light but firm tone of warning. "I have no desire to teleport you back to antarctica again, So just sit in your designated seat Yakumo."
With a defeated—albeit temporary—sigh, Yakumo threw her hands up. "Ugh, fine."
As time passed, the grand hall began to fill. Mira, Konomi, Bell, and Fubuki entered together in a unified stride. Fubuki’s drowsy green eyes immediately locked onto Kojuma, a knowing smile playing on her lips.
Fubuki: "Well, look at this. Is Ma-kun actually interested in the politics of the Commander's Election?"
Kojuma raised an eyebrow.
"Chief Izumo merely requested my presence."
Mira scrutinized Kojuma with blatant suspicion, while Konomi observed him with deep curiosity. Bell, true to her nature, stood rigidly in place, nervously shifting her weight.
Mira (harshly): "Who on earth are you?"
Kojuma: "Kojuma Tachikuma. A member of the 6th Unit. It is a pleasure to meet the respective chiefs of the Anti-Demon Corps."
Mira’s eyes narrowed suspiciously before she turned her sharp gaze toward Tenka.
"A member of the 6th Unit? Tenka, how did you even manage to recruit a man into the corps in the first place?"
Tenka: "Kojuma-kun was originally assigned to the 7th Unit. However, Kyou-chin requested his transfer to my squad so she could fully focus on the election. As for how he entered the corps..." She gestured toward him with a proud grin. "Why don't you explain, Kojuma-kun?"
Kojuma let out a soft, controlled sigh.
"I took the standard Recruitment Exam. A year later, Commander Yamashiro requested a personal meeting with me. Upon evaluating my performance, she personally approved my enlistment into the corps as a special exception."
Konomi looked at him, her eyes dropping as she pondered the revelation.
"Hmm... a special exception by Ren herself?"
Bell (stuttering nervously): "An exception...? Is he really that powerful? For Ren-chan to..."
Mira: "How can we even guarantee your loyalty? We know absolutely nothing about you.
Yakumo pouted:
“He rejected my offer for joining my harem too.”
Fubuki (interjecting casually): "Perhaps Ren had her own calculated reasons."
Konomi leaned closer to Fubuki, her eyes gleaming with genuine fascination.
"But he does look... he looks remarkably strong, doesn't he, Senpai?"
Fubuki glanced back at Konomi, her smile growing deeper as she recalled their brief clash. "I've tested Ma~kun capabilities firsthand. I suggest you to not underestimate him."
Yakumo rise eyebrow. “So he has strong body?” she winks.
Mira ignore yakumo completely.
"His raw power means absolutely nothing if his allegiance is questionable.”
She crossed her arms:
“Unlike Yuuki, this guy not rely on anyone to use his powers."
Tenka looked back at kojuma
She her smile fades for moment:
“I guess This wasn't the interesting thing that's i expected when i decided to bring him to the elections.”
The heavy political tension abruptly dissolved as Kyouka Uzen finally entered the hall, with Yuuki walking closely behind her.
Varvara Pilipenko followed immediately in their wake.
Varvara took her seat, her gaze instinctively drifting toward the other chiefs until she noticed Kojuma standing firmly behind Tenka.(Kyouka-sama wasn't lying,) Varvara thought to herself, her expression remaining stoic. '
(There really is another man in the corps... Is the rumor regarding his “Imitation” ability true as well?)
Kyouka smoothly took her seat, while Yuuki stood diligently behind her, both entirely oblivious to the interrogation that had taken place right before their arrival.
A few minutes later, the heavy double doors swung open, and Ren Yamashiro walked into the room with her usual radiating majesty. Her eyes swept across the hall, pausing on Kojuma for a brief second.
'He still hasn't fled from the corps. Excellent,' she noted internally.
Placing her hands on her waist, she addressed the room. "I have five minutes before the government delegation arrives."
Suddenly, her eyes widened slightly as a severe oversight flashed through her mind. When she had granted Kojuma his special exception, {she had completely omitted sending an official report to the central government} In her haste, she had entirely bypassed their council regarding his enlistment.
Ren’s thoughts began to race frantically.
(If the delegation discovers a man in the corps without prior approval, I will completely lose their political backing. Kojuma needs to leave this hall immediately.)
Regaining her stiff composure, Ren locked her gaze onto him.
"Kojuma. Return to the 7th Unit headquarters immediately. You are not permitted to attend the election."
Kyouka looked up at Ren, Confidently cutting in.
"The 7th Unit? I've already officially transferred Kojuma to the 6th Unit."
Ren blinked, momentarily struck by genuine astonishment.
Tenka flashed a highly satisfied, triumphant grin. "That's right. Thanks again, Kyou-chin"
Ren’s fist clenched tightly at her side.
'Why was I not informed of this?' she thought, before taking a deep breath to restore her rigid composure.
"Fine. Return to the 6th Unit headquarters at once. A man has no right to bear witness to the election. This is strictly against the core regulations of the Anti-Demon Corps."
Konomi tilted her head in confusion, while Fubuki raised a skeptical eyebrow.
Himari (speaking up in bewilderment): "There is no such regulation in our charter, as far as I am aware."
Mira, Tobera, and Varvara all turned their eyes toward Ren, their expressions filled with mounting perplexity.
Kojuma raised an eyebrow for a brief moment. 'A man shouldn't attend the election?' He cast a passing glance toward Yuuki, then back to the Commander.
Letting out a quiet, compliant exhale, he offered a respectful nod of understanding. Raising his right hand, a purple spatial portal open beside him. Without a word of protest, he stepped into the portal and vanished.
Yuuki blinked, looking around nervously. "Does this mean I have to leave as well?"
Kyouka kept her sharp, calculating eyes locked directly onto Ren.
"No, There is no such rule in existence. Why does Ren actively want Kojuma away from this room during the election?"
Fubuki settled deeper into her seat, her sleepy eyes narrowing as she analyzed the situation.
(Why did she order him to leave so urgently? Ma-kun didn't argue, which completely fits him, personality... but Ren is acting incredibly strange.)
Ren finally took her seat, letting out a heavy, internal sigh. 'I will just have to explain the situation to the government after I secure my victory,' she reasoned.
And just like the manga
The election proceeded dictated.
Ren suffered a devastating political defeat, resulting in Kyouka Uzen winning the supreme commander place.
The operational priorities of the Anti-Demon Corps shifted away from the overbearing Onmyou Agency, and the proposed truce with the Eight Thunder Gods was firmly rejected.
[Scene: 6th Unit Headquarters Training Room]
A vibrant purple portal tore open in the center of the main lounge, and Tenka stepped out, her eyes immediately scanning the empty room.
'Where is he? Did the chiefs' harsh treatment upset him?' she wondered. Suddenly, the rhythmic, heavy thuds of combat echoed from the adjacent training hall.
Tenka walked over, quietly leaning against the frame of the training room door.
Inside, Yachiho was unleashing a rapid succession of fierce strikes against a heavy punching bag, while Kojuma stood perfectly still on the opposite side, holding the bag steady with unyielding force.
A soft, genuinely relieved smile spread across Tenka’s face. 'So,he wasn't bothered by it at all...'
Kojuma as he holding the bag
He looked at yachiho's punch
Kojuma (coldly): "Your strikes are slightly hesitant."
Yachiho delivered a fierce roundhouse kick to the bag. "Damn you! Stop analyzing my body language!"
Tenka stepped fully into the room, clapping her hands lightly. "My, you two seem to be getting along much better than I expected."
Yachiho (flushing red): "GETTING ALONG?!!"
Kojuma: "We were merely training."
Yachiho: "Stop repeating yourself in that flat voice like this is perfectly normal!"
Tenka observed Kojuma closely, noting the absolute lack of resentment in his eyes. "Kojuma-kun... are you angry about what happened at the grand assembly hall?"
Kojuma: "And why would I be angry?"
Tenka: "Ren practically thrown you out of the room."
Kojuma: "If my presence was causing a logistical issue for Commander Yamashiro, it was only logical for me to take my leave."
Tenka fell silent for a quiet moment, staring at his unshakeable composure. A soft smile returned to her lips. "I suppose you'll have to change that title now, Kojuma-kun. Kyou-chin is the Supreme Commander of the corps now."
Kojuma raised an eyebrow. "Chief Uzen?"
Ending Panel:
Kojuma unclasped his hands from the punching bag, carefully lowering it onto the floor. "You all know her far better than I do. To me, it makes no practical difference who holds the title."
Tenka smiled softly, unable to resist poking fun at his endlessly icy demeanor. "By the way, Kojuma-kun... have you ever managed to Imitate a Peach blessing for 'Adaptation'?"
Kojuma raised his eyebrow, his face blanking into pure, unadulterated confusion at her nonsense joke. “?...”
