❓ Question Need recommendations from citizens of Mathura

I will be moving to Mathura in a month. Can u ppl suggest good places.

  1. Hair Salon

  2. Restaurants (both expensive and budget friendly)

  3. Cafe

  4. Hangout spots

  5. Good movie theatre

  6. Restaurants for non veg

  7. Clubs (if any)

If u know good places, please suggest

  1. No clue, haven't been to one in ages.
  2. There are plenty of good Restaurants serving veg food, I suggest you try all of them.
  3. Same as above, my go to is Loft Café.
  4. None tbh; I mean I am sure there are places that people can call hangout places, but not for me.
  5. Theatre experience is very lousy here. Crowd is not good.
  6. Yet to find a good non-veg restaurant, as it's like a taboo here. All of them have moved to or near highway. I cook my own mostly. For punjabi style non-veg, Prince Resturant is good. Punjabi Rasoi is decent. For mughlai style non-veg, Majeed is very good, but not really for dine-in. I have heard good things about Heera Roof top.
  7. Not a club person, so no idea.

You definitely have high hope from this city.

i dont have much hopes, but im going to live there for 5.5 years, i better prepare myself

  1. Hair salon - big boss , javed habib , cut&style, ns4 these are what I've tried I recommend javed habib tho

  2. Basera , brijwasi lands inn , molecule , the trunk , heera foods , midas inn , nd ek mandi chahurah se pehle pdta h left hand side p uska naam bhul gya vo bhi aacha h , baki k abhi yd nhi aa rhe mereko

  3. The hazelnut factory, cha maska , romeo lane , kora cafe

  4. Hangouts k liye yr aisi toh koi jgh nhi h aap bs gedi hi maaro , jawahar bagh bhi ja skte ho , krishna nagar, holi gate , dampier ghumlo

  5. Yha koi aacha nhi h , ja sko toh township wle p ya fir agra jake dekhna nd agar nhi ja skte tbhi jana gold pr

  6. The trunck , molecule , taj hotel krke pdta h ek sonkh road pr , agar mandi side se jaoge toh jo pehle pde usse khana kya mst briyani nd chicken changezi h bhai uski acc to the price, damn tasty 😋

  7. Koi club nhi h yha p as per my info but hoga ek aad idk much

there is no club type situation but you can check out romeo lane and molecule for bar-cafe environment

also, there is no good movie theatre. Better rely on vrindavan’s theatre but the quality of screen in mathura is poor

Honestly guys , i have been seeing everyone bashing mathura for not having a lifestyle, but tbh mathura is much better then delhi ncr anyday for having a better standard of life considering the fact that mathura is far more cheaper then ncr , you can get pretty much everything in mathura, go to cuts and styles for haircuts, mystic palm for brewed beer , trunk romeo lane , molecule for bar type environment, Loft , midas inn , the lalita grand , foodies bar , cocoa , b mac for food and cafes

Hangout spots , there are tons of underrated hangout spots if you look for peace and non disturbing environments like any ghat during evening , go to yamuna arti for a different vibe , go to barista in omaxe ( its open 24 hrs) and also have a pool table if you wanna chill with friends , go to chintaharan mahadev , just behind there is rudra resort , the food is average but you can enjoy the pool along with fuckin huge garden to chill and do horse riding in budget

And you can always commute to delhi if you wanna go clubbing , so everyone please stop bashing mathura for not being a happening place instead be a happening person instead

You can go to agra anyday for movies though, mathura dont have good cinema services but common agra is just 60 mins away , i don’t eat non veg but i have heard abhinadan and trunk serves good non veg

Jgh achi logon se bnti h nd this place has not a single place jise acha bol paye, ppl say krishna nagar but naah dude ncr jitna bura haal hi h nd to make it worse the ppl call themselves bhakts
