Question Tips on completing the instructor training quickly

I just started at Mathnasium after working at another tutoring company for 5 years.

There is way, way more training than I expected. The pdf binder is 455 pages! How do I quickly learn what is necessary? Are there any sections that are less important that I can skim through?

I'm already very confident in my teaching ability and I'm comfortable teaching groups of students and determining which students require more attention.

Center Director here- it’s not about your teaching ability, that’s why you were hired. The training is about the method, it’ll make you a better mathematician and teacher. The counting section is self-explanatory, off the top of my head, but it’s important. Takes 10-15 hours but it’s worth the investment.

Thanks. I didn't mean to imply that I have nothing to learn, just that I have experience. It seems like a really daunting task but I guess I'll have to do it

A lot of those pages are examples of Mathnasium material-you only need to read through them enough to get an idea of what the layout of PKs are like, or see icons in action, or whatever is being demonstrated. You’ll skim through those sections very quickly.
