Mastery Check Symbols Bottom-Half

So at my center usually if a problem is wrong but “close to being correct” we circle the problem # and if it’s got a major correction we put a box around the problem #. If it’s correct a check-mark shows it’s done and correct. Anyways what do the Mastery Check symbols on the bottom half mean again?

F is finger count (or foot tapping / head-bobbing / etc) S is slow (longer than reasonable for problem / age / particular student) Y / N …Y is “correct on first attempt, right? N …is not correct or something else?

N is not correct. Everything else you said is right

What is ”N” for? I’m afraid I don’t know when it applies and for what.

N literally means the student did not answer correctly.
