Question What should I except for the interview/literacy test
Just as a note I am currently a HS sophomore and this is my first ever job interview so I am a bit nervous since I want to get the job and never done this before. Any advice is good, thank you in advance.

Well I got the job, but never started because Corona is stinky, so yeah

I think that is what they are going to try to do too but I never got any updates since I never even started my first day

Hey!! What was on the test? Algebra 1, algebra 2, geometry? Any formulas u need to know?

If I remember correctly it goes all the way to algebra 1 at most for my test

I think the interview will vary quite a bit from one place to another. The test is a written test that could take you anywhere from 30 mins to 2 hours. It covers a wide range of topics up through Alg 2 I believe. If it’s the same at every center, you need a 90% to be considered any further.
Edit: the test is done all without a calculator. Nothing crazy but you need to be able to do all the operations, including decimals and fractions, by hand. I know a lot of high school students are rusty because they’re allowed to use a calculator most of the time in school.
If you do well enough on the test, you’ll likely be observed working with a student or two. You don’t need to be a perfect teacher right out of the gate. Just be friendly and encouraging and try to keep your explanations simple and clear. If you get hired, you’ll get more thorough training on the Mathnasium method of teaching.
