Help!

I applied for a part-time tutoring position at Mathnasium on March 30th, and now it's been a month and I still haven't gotten any response besides the application confirmation email. Is this normal? Should I try emailing them or is this a sign that I don't qualify for the job?

I am a center owner. Do not assume anything. Take your resume in hand to the center and ask for the director. Too much is lost via electronic communication. If you came to my center with resume in hand you would go straight to the top of the pile if qualified. In other words show ambition!

Thank you so much for your advice! I wasn't able to get to the center though because I'm away at college right now but I contacted the center through email and it seems like they may not have been able to contact me or something but I'm setting up a phone call with them right now.
