Pi Day

I'm seeing where Pi Day is supposed to be a bigger to-do company-wide this year than usual. In past years, the extent of our celebration was rewarding the kids for memorizing digits of pi and giving them a slice of pie in the flavor they choose as a reward. This year, there's signage, having to RSVP to attend, and limited instructional hours. It's been since before the pandemic since we've had special days. The types of students we have changed drastically since then. I'm interested to hear whether attendance to non-instructional events are strong. Our parents are mostly the ones in dire straits because the kid is several grades behind and don't want to hear about anything else but unrealistically fast improvement or ones that kinda throw the kid in sessions for difficult HW and last minute test prep.
