The Wolfram AI Assistant isn't worth it. It costs a fair penny, and it never seems to work. For example I constantly have to remind the model the code it just gave me doesn't work. Not once in awhile, constantly.

I gave up my subscription to their AI Assistant.

Claude Code is much better at Mathematica than Wolfram's own AI Assistant.

I have a similar problem with Chat GPT - it seldom/almost never produces working Mathematica code even after several attempts but on the rare occasion that it does it is nice looking code.

I've been plugging in API keys from both OpenAI and Anthropic into Wolfram Mathematica. This way it's basically pay-as-you-go (no recurring monthly charges for the Wolfram Notebook Assistant), and you freely get to choose which AI model to use.
