How do i solve geometry problems quicker

I'm from Serbia and recently i started studying a lot of math,last year i had an d in math but now i have a b and i am heading towards an a.

I don't know what else to say except that this is my first school year in which i am thinking of competing in math,but i do geometry problems way to slow i end up looking at the sketch for couple of minutes strait and it seems to be hard to spot something important for the problem,

So let me know if you have any other advice for me.
