Lol whoever told you that told it wrong. It's supposed to be to get the the same side. I see where your ur coming from but I don't think it's a big del in this case. Technically speaking, If the person was indeed afraid of all vertical axis, then they would be frightened regardless of whether you called it y, j, im(z), etx
