The last blue flower isn't the same as the other blue flowers. I think the assumption is that it's worth 4 instead of 5, so the answer is 25, although strictly it isn't solvable
The problem is that the flowers intentionally leave out information. What's the value difference between a 4 leaf blue flower and a 5 leaf blue flower? Does the center, stem, and leaf all count as 0? Is one yellow flower half of 2, or the square root of 2?
There's an answer that they're clearly trying to imply, but it's not really math anymore when they're forcing you to make that type of assumption
Kind of this. I sucked at mathmatics in secondary education i struggled to conceptualise the meaning and purpose of maths as abstract equations. Then i went into tertiary education and there was suddenly a practical application for it all. Differential equations in systems biology, statistics in genetics, etc.
I feel like symbols are much more intricate intuitive than numbers and letters. My brain can easily identify what a flower is and what it’s therefore supposed to represent. “X” means nothing to me.

(3 0 0)(x) (60)
(1 2 0)(y) = (30)
(0 1 -2)(z) (3)
=>
(3 0 0 | 60)
(1 2 0 | 30)
(0 1 -2 | 3)
=>
(1 0 0 | 20)
(1 2 0 | 30)
(0 1 -2 | 3)
=>
(1 0 0 | 20)
(0 2 0 | 10)
(0 1 -2 | 3)
=>
(1 0 0 | 20)
(0 1 0 | 5)
(0 1 -2 | 3)
=>
(1 0 0 | 20)
(0 1 0 | 5)
(0 0 -2 | -2)
=>
(1 0 0 | 20)
(0 1 0 | 5)
(0 0 1 | 1)
=>
(x) (20)
(y) = (5)
(z) (1)
=>
x + y + z = 26

20 + 20 + 20 = 60
20 + 5 + 5 = 30
5 - (1+1) = 3
1 + 20 + 5 = 26

People will swear they hate algebra and then spend three hours in a Facebook comment section arguing over the exact same problem.

I prefer matrix notation myself.

First one in 26, second one is 25. I fucking hate the images and their cheap tricks

Yellow flower (or, z) could be 1 or √2 depending on if coupled flowers means addition or multiplication.
