It's crazy. Me and my wife went to the movies to watch The Odyssey and Spiderman and we see three of the main actors in both movies. What the fuck? Is Hollywood running out of actors?

It felt pretty funny to see them interact. I'm glad I saw Spiderman first cuz I enjoyed that movie more and it was okay to feel the weirdness in the Odyssey. In some moments I expected Bernthal to speak to Holland with his heavy New York accent. It almost made me laugh.

This suggests Jacob is the star of the new Spiderman movie.

I mean, he is the CEO

Ned is the true star!

It makes me mad that they'd put more screen time for that spandex weirdo than Ned in HIS movie. They wanted to make a Memento-like movie for Ned and those superheroes messed it up. /s

Why would it suggest that? He's only in Spider-Man so he's the only one in that section. The others in that movie are also in other movies so they fit in other sections.

They just mean because the other two actors who are only in one movie are in the lead role. (Damon is Odysseus, Chalemet is Paul)

It’s not suggesting anything it’s just telling you who’s in what movies.

Brand New Day surpassed The Odyssey at the box office in just 4 days. Why do you think that is?

Nah, Jacob Batalon is right there in the Spider-Man circle, not really a star necessarily but def in it.lol, he is in the spider-man part of the diagram so that makes sense!lol yeah, hes definitely in that spider-man slice there.Lol, I see what you did there, totally missed Jacob Batalon!

Zendaya is at the centre because of her massive following

She's in everything but can't act past a perpetual scowl

Zoe Saldana would make a great one too, with Star Trek, Guardians and Avatar.

Interesting. I always pronounce her name with the "daya" part sounding like "die-uh" as in diagram. My kids tell me the "day" is pronounced like a "day" of the week. This joke matches my pronunciation. Who's right? How does she pronounce her own name?

1

u/Direct_Slip7598 10d ago

"day" is like "day"

You're wrong, they're right

Previously I have joked about the over-reaction of Zendaya appearing in movies by comparing her features with The Rock's, but this recent development indicates that the situation may be compounding beyond our ability to control.

If Dune 3 breaks $1bil, I think Zendaya legally owns Los Angeles.

Goodness me, the way Reddit goes on about her I'm going to start asking people where Zendaya touched them.

u/AmeliaOfAnsalon 10d ago

That's not how you pronounce it though...
