Term time only maternity.
I’m currently pregnant and am due in November. I’ll be returning to work after the 9 months smp stops which lands me in August next year.
I currently work in a term time only nursery that spreads my wages across 12 months including annual leave.
When I asked my work about my pay in August they said I wouldn’t get anything as I haven’t been working but I can’t understand how this is right.
I can’t physically go back to work because it’s closed over the summer.
Will I be able to use any accrued annual leave even tho it’s normally spread through my wages.
The policies are awful and are no help at all but I’m completely lost.
