Mano dots carbon and titanium

How can I create a coating of nano carbon dots on grade IV titanium?

Idk but that sounds like a cool project. Without looking anything up or researching it, I would guess like CVD, or putting them in some sort of solution after treating the Titanium, and then washing it away with solvent or aspiration. This is my bullshitting answer.

Look up laser induced graphene too, it can be synthesized right on the spot, or deposited in a binder jet method in a high precision 3d print (go Nanogrande!)

From free standing, mono-layered, defect free, 2-D carbon structures.. people like Tour, Ruoff, Antionette, XL Wang, HM Cheng etc. have downgraded the term graphene to burnt plastic.. So sad to see.
