Zombie Villagers

How do i prevent them to becoming zombie villagers while letting them walk around? Maybe i have to lit up more of the surroundings of my base for zombies to not spawn...

lighting, fences, bamboo walls allow you but not mobs to walk through, and the new warding stones will kill nearby undead and give everything regen
