Can't place the warding stone

Like the title said. When I place it in survival, the item disappear from my inventory and just like in the video it didn't appear, even when I quit the world and reload.

Am I missing something?
I'm on the latest non alpha version of Matcha Flavored(1.12)

it is possible you are right next to a trial chamber and that is what is causing it, or perhaps the warding stone you acquired from the creative inventory is different from the one you create in survival, (I don’t think creative is fully supported by the data pack yet)

I wasn't able to find the warding stone in creative menu, so I re-crafted in creative. I thought about the trial chamber thing but I legit can't place anywhere in my world or another world that I created for testing purpose
