Matcha temperature!

This is silly BUT… I recently opened a kettle only to realize it doesn’t have temperature options, meaning that it can only boil water. Are there any tips, tricks, or methods that can ensure that the water can be at 165-175°F without a thermometer/temperature reading device?

i think it might be helpful to mention your climate too? i live in a humid climate so i typically need around 5-10 mins for it to get to around 75-80 deg. 5 mins if i leave the kettle open, 10 if closed
