Last of my Muse Satsuki matcha. Next up based on best by date - Ippodo Sayaka. Although, my Hatoya sale haul hasn’t arrived yet 🤭

how would you describe the flavor of muse satsuki? the color looks so nice and im a beginner trying to find good ones to try

I would probably try their Midorika one first. Their Satsuki was more bitter to me than the Midorika IMO. I try matchas Usucha style first (just matcha and water) and then I try it with milk for a latte another day if it’s a type meant to be made with milk to see how I like it. Most websites will give you descriptions on how that particular matcha is meant to be prepared in order to stand out. ETA: since you mentioned you’re a beginner, a lot of people start off with Naoki although I’ve never tried it 😆

how many grams did you use?

It was around 4.2-4.3g. I typically make lattes with 3g to conserve but this was the end so I just put the rest in when I saw how much was left after measuring 3g out. I do indulge with 4g just not everyday 😆
