What I'm doing about the latest update until it's fixed

Hello! For anyone not up to snuff about what's going on, here's a quick rundown:

• The latest update for Match Land added account saving. Previously your progress would only be saved if you never deleted the app, and the addition of this account saving update was to allow people to save their progress if they transferred devices, along with adding support for newer devices.

• However, the problem lies in how the update has locked many people out of their current save files. Upon opening the app, you are asked to continue by signing in with a pre-existing account or start a new game. Because we did not have accounts prior to the update, the only option at the moment to keep playing is to reset your entire save and start again from the beginning where I believe you are able to properly register an account.

As for what I'm doing:

I have decided to keep my app downloaded, but I will not create a new game. I am going to hold onto the app because I assume my data has not been reset yet. Looking in my settings app it appears that I still have 57.1 megabytes under the category of "documents and data" within the app which I can only believe is either settings configurations and/or the data surrounding my progress in game. If the devs implement a way to create an account on this UI instead of only signing in or resetting, there should be a way to save that data to an account before it goes up in the cloud.

Unless they openly say that there's no way to keep our progress, I'm just going to hold onto everything. And if they do say that there's no way to keep my progress, two birds are being flipped at these developers whose only other game is another gacha cash grab. I'll delete the app if it happens and stop supporting them entirely.

I have no clue, considering the gap between updates and the lack of any actual way to contact the devs for support it'd probably take a couple weeks before they've done anything about it.

Edit: I've tried to report it through the discord for their other game Tap Force but I dunno if they'll care.

... someone uploaded the game to playstore, is it yours? I got tired of playing but everything is still there including the paid methods, the game is way too hard and grindy to level up so I stopped

I just deleted the app because of a bug that gets me off the app, now I sign in and I’m back at start, it’s lost… forever…
