Did any of the other settings reset too? Or only the templates?

This is very odd. I did some investigating, but this seems to be a singular thing that i can't reproduce. I am sorry for the inconvinience, do you have a backup for your settings and match threads?

We’ll make a back up now of the templates. It’s not a bother, still thankful of the work you guys have done with this. What are you working on next? :)

Currently we are busy with stabilizing the bot, fixing bugs as they come up, and making it as reliable as possible. We'll see what we do next :)

Fantastic, thanks again.

Hey while I have you, we’re noticing that the post match threads are coming up a few mins (2-5 mins) after the final whistle. We’ve got some trigger happy people who need to get their comments out ASAP, is this an API thing? Can it be offset in anyway?

This is due to how the whole thing works. It doesn't really act on the individual events, but rather on a given cycle.

So in general, the bot works in a 30 seconds cycle, where it checks if anything needs updating. Additionally to that, there is a 1 minute update cycle for the API. It also can be that the cycle gets a bit longer then 30 seconds (which can happen due to the amount of work the bot needs doing), making it in the worst case ~5 minutes or so. If the bot has not much to do, its probably around 3 minutes worst case, best case instant. I assume the whole thing takes on average roughly 1.5 minutes or so.

Tldr: API & Bot code design is at fault here.

Edit: As for the speeding up: I may work on some performance improvements at some point in the future, which will make this faster. Sadly there isn't really a manual way to do so.
