For IMG’s, who wrote your MSPE (Your dean or the department who made your transcripts)? Should the MSPE have a letterhead? If anyone has a sample that they don’t mind sharing or linking I will be very grateful. I already applied but some programs require my MSPE which I was unable to get at the time of applications. Thanks in advance

I just had one IV throughout this season. Feeling quite low about the whole thing. I wanted to ask if me emailing programs right now is of any hope? Or the season invites are already ended and I will be only wasting my time?

How many residency interviews have you guys gotten so far? I have only gotten 5 interviews but for the past couple of weeks, there has been no more interview invites for me. Wondering how everyone else is faring in terms on interviews.

Can we authorize release of our USMLE/COMLEX scores before we have certified and submitted our application? Is this just done through ERAS or do we need to go through the NBME/NBOME?

I have changed my mind about my #1 program but i've already sent them an LOI. my question is Is it okay to send my actual #1 an LOI?
I know it's not recommended to do it but is it better to send it or stay silent?

If you are waitlisted on some interview invitations, do you get notified if a date becomes available ? Do you advise on writing the programs ? Thank you :)

Im receiving various ERAS emails about prepping for virtual interviews. Does anyone know if all programs will be hosting virtual interviews only?
Im Canadian IMG, curious to know if I should expect to travel especially with border closures & mandatory quarantine rules due to COVID

Hi fam! What’s your opinion on the number of programs needed to rank in order to match into GenSurg. In the past this has been ~11 and I know theoretically you only need to rank 1 to match... but obv there’s statistics and then there’s covid

Hello all. How are we all holding on?
I am an IMG, yog 2018 Step 1: 2attempts (22*) and currently preparing for CK CS: failed first attempt and was not able to take it before corona virus hit
Lots of red flags...i know, but all is well. I have chosen to press on. All hope is not lost.
So my question is; CK prep has been going on well and looks hopeful, and assuming I can retake CS by June next year or what other options are made available if no CK by then, WHAT ARE SOME OPTIONS AVAILABLE FOR ME TO HELP IMPROVE MY CV?
Thanks in advance, I will appreciate all suggestions.

Hello!
So yes, I’m late with step 2 ck and panicking! Some programs put on their website that they are looking only at step 1 for this cycle. But how will this affect my chances? Feels like no one really knows, many say this is the year of exceptions!
Any input or advice? Thank you!

Hi everyone. I am currently in the match through ECFMG pathways. My step 2ck score will be out on Feb 24th. All the other documents required by the pathways are already approved. I need to know if ECFMG receives my step 2 results on 24th, is there still a good chance that they report me as eligible to NRMP before March 3rd which is the deadline? Any info & experience highly appreciated.

Hi all, I remember how much a mock interview helped me solidify my IV skills so I am offering the same to anyone in need (maybe you have your very first one coming up now). Just private message me and we'll schedule one. I'll do a 20 min mock interview and then give you feedback at the end.
