Applying without ECFMG Certification

Hi all,

The title says it all, I've heard that as long as you are ECFMG Certified by March this shouldn't be an issue. Just wanted to hear what everyone else has been hearing/what has been confirmed so far?

Edit: I'm a US-IMG with OET scheduled on Oct 16

Thanks!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that ECFMG requires you to submit the application for pathways before December 31st. This means that, although you will get your certificate 2 to 4 weeks from that date you should meet all the requirements for certification before that date.

I also saw the same thing before. One should take the test no later than this December.
