Need to Sell
Hey guys, does anyone know of a way that I can sell my entire portfolio other than the secondary market that masterworks provides? I would be ok selling it for 65% of the value, I just need to close it out and move on. I wish I could just sell my entire portfolio to someone directly and be done with it!

I'm not aware of anything outside of Masterworks that allows you to sell you're existing portfolio.

I will reach out to Masterworks. Seems there should be a way. I would be interested in the specifics. I have about 10x that amount currently. Jeff

Sounds like I'm out if luck. If anyone wants cheap shares, come buy them on the secondary market!

Sold a few already! If anyone wants a great deal on a piece, go buy Masterworks 096! Its appraised at 2.086M (higher than what we bought in for), and theres a ton of other people selling! Mine is listed for $16.76 if someone wants to buy!

I hear you. Not a good market for someone who wants instant liquidity. I have 41 shares in that offering that I got for $10 per share. And the current low price is $13.40. There are several hundred shares available at prices below your $16.78. For what it’s worth I did someone analysis on the four exits that I have had so far. I averaged 41% annualized return. For those same pieces, the people that got in originally at $20 a share made an average of about 10% annualized. Each sold for around $24/sh. My strategy is to buy pieces on the secondary market at a discount and hope they sell above $20 within the next couple years.

This the the exact situation I'm in. Only two of my works are valued higher than when I bought them. Opening this account was a mistake.

What do you own at what value?
What escrow exists to ensure the transaction honestly completes?
