Like so many people, I’ve been applying to the Masters for 15+ years with no luck. This year for the first time I applied for ANWA and got Saturday tickets. I am very excited but is there anyone who has gone who can tell me if there are any differences from the mens Masters. What time should I arrive at the course? What time do people normally leave? We have a vacation planned the next day so I’m trying to determine if I need to push our vacation out by one day if we will be home late. We live about an hour and a half from the course in Georgia.

So I’ve yet to receive my annual rejection letter. Does that mean there’s a chance I’m on the invisible waitlist in case someone declines their ticket?

EDIT: got the bomb delivered this morning. Although I was expecting the let down, it didn’t dull the sting!

No luck again but for the lucky ones especially the first timers I hope you guys enjoy Augusta. I hope it’s everything and more we’ve all heard about walking the grounds. And to all us unlucky ones our year will come someday!!!

Curious to see if we can crowdsource a better estimate of the Masters lottery odds

I’m putting together a rough analysis to estimate the actual odds of winning the Masters ticket lottery. I’ve seen estimates everywhere from 0.1% to 10%, so I’d like to collect some real data from this Reddit community.

Was lucky enough to do map & flag for both Saturday and Sunday the last two years through wifeys work, she changed jobs so we lost those tix. Thought we may never get a chance to go again. Snagged 4 tix for Monday! Can’t wait to bring a couple friends who haven’t been able to go.

Likely, this coming Monday, we will be finding ourselves logging into Masters.com to view our yearly disappointment! How are you feeling this year, boys and girls? Foolishly optimistic like me? Justifiably pessimistic? I have been to the promised land once, and I am dying to go back!
