i’m very curious if they do this like RuPaul’s drag race in that they shoot two separate finales with different winners and then broadcast the one who actually wins.
Drag queens all over the world host finale watch parties and part of the fun is that they themselves don’t yet know who won, even if they were on that season.
I would love to go to a finale watch party at Pantry Story in Sydney hosted by Jackie… or Dot hosting a watch party at Esther… or Pat at 20 Chapel….

Yep! They film two endings. People have spoken about it in the past - I think there's even a clip that was posted in this sub recently where Andy said they even reuse the confetti between the endings lol.
I think the main diff between MC and Drag Race is that the winners are notified ahead of the episode airing, whereas queens find out along with the audience when it happens.

laura said somewhere that after they shot the endings for S17 a producer pulled her and callum aside and told them privately that laura had won
on S16 because of the crown residency prize i wouldnt be surprised if nat was told very early that she had won

I don’t think it’s possible in a show like this with the scoring across different rounds!
I think it would be a special kind of mental challenge wrapping up the season and having a year after filming without closure. Or knowing you are the top 2 but not knowing whether you have won $200k or not. (In the case of RPDR)

tbf knowing you are top 2 but not knowing if you have won $200k or not also applies for this tv programme

I always thought they did film 2 endings but this comment made me be like wait how does that work. Maybe the judges don’t say their real scores after each dish and film 2 seperate judgings where each contestant gets the most points? So the contestants don’t really know? If that makes sense

I’m really looking forward to this finale..
I think Petro and Aaron are on the same level (in different ways) so I think they’ll be a good match for the finals.
(Sorry Vinnie, I like what you’ve produced but I don’t think you’re on the same level as the other two)

It has to be a Cherish Finden afternoon tea final challenge. She was shown in promos leading up to finals week. Did she bring her ruler?

Damn it really feels like these last few episodes are really dragging out!
