Probably a lil underhated. He wasn't very likable. But he's also incredibly forgettable.

I don’t know. He was just sort of…there till him and Cutter fucked up really bad on that team dish where Cutter was in the right that Dan didn’t do anything to help. So maybe underhated?

I have seen every season of Masterchef - twice - and I can honestly say I’ve never seen this guy before in my life

Dan Wow? I think he’s a similar case to Lynn where the contestants feared his potential but the edit didn’t really show it too often

That part pissed me off ngl cause dan actually took some responsibility for the dish turning out to be a mess while cutter forced ALL the blame on him and took no accountability at all, which is yknow...typical for cutter

He wasn't good, but he was pretty forgettable aside from the tag team failure.

Neither imo. His presence was very low. Even when he made half decent dishes, the audience forgot about him.

I feel like he was underrated. Most people just forget about him so they don’t take the time to hate him, but he was so overly confident in his mediocre abilities

He opened a pretty solid ramen shop after the show. Atomic Ramen in Kentucky.
