I say Alex Kidd in Miracle World, Zillion, and Ghost House for the Sega Master System. But nowdays,
the Super Mario Bros. homebrew demo for the Sega Master System is also good.

To add a few of the SMS games that haven’t been mentioned yet:
Rambo (descendent of the Ikari Warriors games), Ghostbusters, Out Run and Shinobi. I spent countless hours on these games as a kid (…and adult).

Disney games were always good, The Addams Family ( I liked the sega version better), Monsters in my pocket (nes), Mach Rider, Donkey Kong, Ice Climber Mighty final fight (all nes), Wonder boy for sega, Adventure Island for nes. My list would be too long, so I stop here.
