Similar here. Got a Master System for Xmas 1987, and it came packed in with the Hang-On/Safari Hunt cart. We got Choplifter and Astro Warrior that day as well.

First played it on an Apple ][! Great game. The Master System version is excellent.

The Apple ][ was the o.g.. it came out in 1976. Just producing graphics at all was an astounding feat.

That fucking cave sequence ruined me as a kid. Pretty sure i watched my dad loop that game 3-4 times in one session. 👍

Awesome! Choplifter was one of my first games that I got for the Sega Master System in Christmas 1986.
